Date Night

Joey and I had our first date night in over 16 months. It's only been in the last 3-4 months that Libby would stay with anyone so that has prevented us from being able to go anywhere long distance. With a little prodding from Joey we scheduled one for Sunday night. Of course I cried when we pulled out of the driveway. We have never been that far away from her so it was a first for all of us. The first time we had gone out by ourselves since she's been born, the first time Libby has stayed with Mamaw and Pap, and the first time out of town without her. Can I say we had a really good time?!?! We ate at Olive Garden and then went to see the movie "Fireproof." We had been hearing how good the movie was and it was beyond words. We both cried at several parts. It was so real. We know couples who have or are struggling the same way that Caleb and Katherine struggle in the movie. I know this movie will hit home with people because it's real life stuff and real life struggles. The Gospel was presented so vividly and so clearly that any lost person watching would understand it clearly. Such a picture of Christ and His forgiveness. I challenge anyone that hasn't gone to see it yet to invest $8.00 to see it. It's worth spending the money and supporting clean family movies. You will be changed!!
